MINNIES
This series of paintings Minnies bears this name because the works from this series, compared to my other works, are "mini small". Through frame and passe-partout they come to a total size of 30 x 40 cm, but the individual paintings are only about 12 x 18.5 cm in size. This size was given by the book pages on which they are painted. The pages from the book "Letters and Diary Pages" by Paula Modersohn from 1927, served as the background. The old German script and the cream-colored, almost 100 years old, book pages inspired me to create a series of Minnies. They are a perfect start for every art lover, both in format and price. So if you have always wanted to have a real Shirin Donia one-of-a-kind, are looking for a unique gift or want to add to your collection, now is the perfect opportunity to purchase your very own one-of-a-kind.
