A painting is born in the studio, but it really comes to life on someone else's wall. That is why this page exists: here I show how my paintings hang in your homes.

Art in real life

How my paintings look next to a sofa, above a dining table or in a hallway between jackets and shoes, I only see when you show me. And that is exactly what I love: seeing how every painting takes on its very own effect in a different home.

An idea for your own wall

If you are thinking about buying a painting, it helps to see the artworks in real rooms. Between plants, shelves and everyday life, you get a much better feeling for how color, size and a painting can change a room.

And if you are still looking: among my paintings and series you might find exactly the piece that fits your wall.

Do you have one of my paintings at home? Send me your photo by email to artgallery@shirin-donia.com. I would love to see it!
