Original paintings for sale: art that exists only once
Every painting on this page exists exactly once. I paint each one by hand in my studio, and when it is sold, it is gone. No edition, no reprint, no “also available in blue”. If you are looking for original art for sale that is not already hanging in three of your neighbors’ homes, you are in the right place.
Hand-painted in the studio, mostly in series
Most of my paintings are made in series. A series does not start with a color. It starts with a question or a feeling.
FACADE asks what we show of ourselves and what is just a front. REBEL puts neon, hard contrasts and a firm “whatever” attitude on canvas. In BE YOU TIFUL I work in gold, fabrics from Marrakesh and Indian saris. EPIC is my quiet corner in the everyday chaos: large portraits of women, lots of white, a little pause. THE FUTURE IS NOW is my answer to AI, with very human creativity.
SELFMADE is a tribute to everyone who builds their dreams on their own terms, with gold, neon and a lot of courage. SUPERPOWER is about self-love and believing in yourself. In FREE SPIRIT, confident women break through ornamental patterns.
Add flowers (CARPE FLORAL DIEM), legends and icons from film, music and pop culture (LEGENDARY), and my boys from OH BOY: loud, funny, with a wink. The common thread: people with attitude, mostly women.
Techniques and sizes
My originals are hand-painted canvases, mostly acrylic on a mixed-media layer, stretched on a wooden frame. There are large canvases for a wall that needs a statement, smaller formats for a hallway, a shelf or a gallery wall, and a few oil paintings. The smallest ones are the mini originals. The MINNIES, for example, are painted on book pages that are almost 100 years old, with cream-colored paper and old print showing through.
Nobody searches for colorful artwork by centimeters. You look for a feeling. Pick the painting you cannot stop looking at. The size will sort itself out.
Art that does something to a room
I do not paint to match your sofa. But I know what color does to a room. One large painting can carry a living room on its own. Small ones get strong as a group. And a portrait in your home office watches you work, honestly.
