Have a motif, a color world or a mood in mind? Tell Shirin what you’re picturing — she’ll paint a new, standalone original from it. No existing work gets copied, even if a sold piece inspired you.

Shirin gets back to you with questions and a quote.

Once you approve, the painting takes shape in Shirin’s studio.

What does a bespoke painting cost?
There is no fixed price. After your enquiry I will send you a quote. As a guide: prices are similar to those of my originals in a comparable size and finish.
Can I use a sold original as inspiration?
Yes — send the link to the piece you like as inspiration. Your painting will still be its own new original, not a copy.
How long does it take?
Usually about two months, and a little longer when the studio is busy.
Bespoke painting: a new artwork that belongs only to you
Sometimes the painting you imagine does not exist yet. Maybe you have a color world in mind, a mood, a motif you cannot find anywhere. Or you loved one of my originals, but it is already sold. Then I paint you a bespoke painting.
What is a bespoke painting?
A bespoke painting is an entirely new work based on your idea. It is not a likeness and not a copy, but an original of its own. You tell me what you imagine, and I paint a new one-of-a-kind piece from it.
When a sold original will not let go of you
My paintings exist only once. When one is sold, it is gone, and I will not paint it a second time. But it can be a starting point: send me the link to the work you like and tell me what speaks to you. The colors, the attitude, the figure? Your bespoke painting will be inspired by it, but it will be a new one-of-a-kind piece of its own.
How to describe your wish
You do not need a finished idea. A few keywords are enough: Which colors do you like? What mood should the painting have, calm, bold, cheeky? Roughly how big should it be, and where will it hang? And if you saw one of my paintings that feels close, send the link. We develop the rest together.
How it works
1. Request: you describe your motif with style, colors, format and inspiration. 2. Alignment: I get back to you with questions and an offer. 3. Creation: after your OK, the painting is made in my studio. 4. Handover: your new original travels to you, safely packed.
Bespoke painting or portrait commission?
If you want a portrait of yourself or the people you love, the page to commission a portrait is the right one. It describes the process and price for portrait commissions. A bespoke painting is freer: a motif, a color world, a mood, without a specific person having to be in it.
