AI art or KI Kunst - What is it?

Hello, have you ever heard of AI art or KI-generated art?

Artificial Intelligence is a current topic that is widely discussed these days. In recent years, the significance of AI art has greatly increased. But what exactly is AI art, and can it replace the role of artists and human art in the future?

AI art stands for Artificial Intelligence art, and AI-Art is the English abbreviation for Artificial Intelligence Art. It is a digital art form where algorithms in a computer program or on a smartphone are used to generate images, instead of a human artist drawing or painting them by hand.

To create AI art, special software programmed with these algorithms is required. This software is trained with data that can consist of a variety of images. The goal is to teach the software how to create images in a similar way.

The software can then be used to generate new images using the data learned during the training process. Various parameters can be set to influence the appearance of the image, such as colors, shapes, or textures.

This is a brief overview of the technical aspects of AI art.

Basically, it's pretty cool and truly impressive! But does this mean that we creatives (artists, photographers, graphic designers, designers, etc.) will soon have to hang up our jobs because computers are replacing us?
